Football season is upon us. My sister, being the die-hard Chargers fan that she is, is ecstatic I’m sure. I, on the other hand, am sort of sad to see baseball dwindle away. However, even though I can’t get 100% behind the game played on the gridiron, what I CAN get behind are cheerleaders. Loved them in high school…loved them in college…and I still love them. :)

The Chargers played last night…and I caught a glimpse of my pal Casie shaking it on the sidelines. :) It made my day.

So when I saw this commercial for Direct TV, I just had to share. :)

This time, with The Hills star Audrina Patridge.

No joke…if you are a hot model who has shot with me recently, I have shared my recent fetish for shiny bikinis.

And if you have eaten burgers with me recently…you will know that I like to endulge in a good teriyaki burger…

This commercial has all of my favorite things…and it made me smile. :)

I honestly think Carl’s Jr is on to something here…hot girls, delicious burgers? What’s not to love. Excellent marketing, boys!

And the commercial is pretty spicy too.

I don’t watch Top Chef all that much, but I think I might after watching host Padma Lakshmi eat a Western Bacon Cheeseburger.

Damn…who knew a commercial for a burger could be so exciting??

This commercial makes me smile everytime I see it because it’s one of my dad’s favorites. Unfortunately, it gets stuck in my head and I can’t help but sing along.

So, I’m not a huge Peyton Manning fan..but he’s an alright football player…and a pretty funny guy in those Master Card commercials.

I love this new promo USA has out for the new episodes of Monk that are supposed to start in January.

It’s a spoof on the 80s show Magnum, p.i.

Monk is no Tom Selleck…but he gets the job done.

I usually like commercials from Carl’s Jr…and this one is no exception.

The only thing that bothers me is this:

In what universe would a chump like that score a hot girlfriend like the hottie in this commercial?

All I can say is that I’ll gladly take you out for a steak dinner. I’ll even dress up. :) And we won’t be ordering from a drive thru.
