Also…since I’m sharing…and sharing is caring…I had a great shoot last Thursday with the beautiful Rebecca Miller. Again, on my imfamous list of people I’ve been wanting to work with, I’m glad I finally got to shoot with Rebecca. We shot at a gorgeous backyard pool in Pacific Beach…total blast to work with! And seriously, you have to love this weather lately. :)
I had a fantastic engagement session this weekend with an adorable couple in love. :) You gotta love love, right? :)
I spent the afternoon with Michael and Shawndalyn at Balboa Park and really had a great time. Gorgeous San Diego weather, a fun couple…what more could you ask for?
I’m getting really behind on sharing about photo shoots…and I know the guys that read this appreciate that. :)
I had a photo shoot a few weeks ago with a gorgeous model named Eva. We had a blast shooting…and the shots were a little too hot to handle…we actually had to cool off a little bit. :)
My girlfriend in college used to call cola beverages “pop” and I would tease her relentlessly for it. Today, I occasionally use “pop” in jest…but I think it’s funny how people call soda “pop.”
Sorry, but we cool Californians call it Coke. Even if it ain’t Coke.
The Nice Guy Society, including Dr. Stinkeye, had a lengthy conversation about this…that, sadly, was captured audioly (which I know isn’t a word…) and archived in MP3 format.

Anyway, so, Shea posted this little ditty on her blog and I thought I’d share. Ever wonder who calls it soda and who calls it pop?
One of my favorite memories of my grandpa are the games we used to play. Yahtzee. Chess. Checkers. And he used to let me win at pretty much all of them…except ping pong. :)
He pretty much kicked my butt every single time. I think this has made me the stellar ping pong player I am today. :)
…so I thought this was pretty funny. I’ve never played “table tinnis” before. :)
Thanks to Laura and the amazing technology of BlackBerry camera phones for sending this to me.
So my roommate, Jeremy, got a solicitation in the mail from Lumber Liquidators, which is odd in itself…since none of us are carpenters or ark builders or widdlers…
But what I love is the “inconveniently located” tag on the back.
At least they realize this. After all, location is everything. :)
So I woke up slightly early this morning to shoot a couple MMA fighters at the Unleashed gym over on ECB. Good times and cool guys.
Afterwards, I decided to grab some carne asada fries at Filibertos…only to find out that it wasn’t Filibertos anymore. I guess some random company from Newport, Oregon bought them out. Whatever. Fili’s has just always been there…and it’s sort of sad that it isn’t. Now it’s Oscar’s…número dos.
So I was watching TV this morning (which by the way, is another annoyance in itself, being awake so early today…), and I saw this commercial for Old El Paso taco shells.
You gotta love the stereotyping in this…right down to La Bamba playing in the background during the “fiesta!”
It made me chuckle.
Viva Mexico!
