I’m a firm believer that the people we meet in our lifetimes were brought into our lives for a reason. That’s one of the many reasons why I love my job so much…I meet the coolest people. Whether it’s a kick-ass couple like Matt and Breanna…

or even a model…I just LOVE meeting cool people. Some people are friends for life…some are more short-lived…but all of them touch your life in some respect…
London Andrews is one of those people.
London is this amazing, talented, funny, beautiful model from the east coast. She’s on a road-trip and making her way around and up the west coast…and I was pretty much so stoked when she said she’d shoot with me.
She drove down from LA on Monday…and since the weather was poopy, we decided not to shoot…but she came over anyway. She walked right in, flopped on my bed…and we talked like old friends who had known each other for years…
In the course of a lifetime, you meet certain people that are just…amazing. And I have to say that London Andrews is SO on the list of the most awesome people I’ve ever met. She loves people, which has inspired her to travel and shack up with total strangers…she loves life, which drives her to never be afraid to try new things…and she LOVES what she does with a passion. I love people that are passionate about stuff. It’s inspiring. And infectious. I listened to her tell story after story…and was totally enamored.
Yesterday, on what couldn’t have been a more perfect afternoon, we hiked down the treacherous hill to Blacks Beach in La Jolla and took some really pretty pictures. We saw a lot of naked people, including the guy that helped me with my reflector. That was a little traumatic…I’m trying to forget that image…but he was a nice guy. :) She definitely attracted an audience. :P The photos we shot probably won’t make it to my mainstream gallery, since they were shot at Blacks (and I’m sure you know what that means…), but they are pretty pictures nevertheless…and we had a blast taking them. :)
And then, we had fun hiking back up the hill, even though we almost died. :) I don’t make that hike for just anyone, after all. But we did it…and lived to tell the tale. And we both felt so invigorated (and pooped) after the hike. We were totally passed by several surfers, a nice older couple, and a dog. I think it was the dog that really made my realize I was out of shape. :)
After rinsing the beach off of us, we had a great dinner and convo at BJ’s. GOOD good times. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the day…or a better person to spend it with.
And I think that even if the pictures totally sucked…I am so very fortunate to have been in the presence of London Andrews…and to have shared my fried onion thingies with her…because, WOW…she is truly one amazing girl.
And that’s all I have to say about that. :)
Cheesy video of our adventures to come soon after I finish with my weekly madness. :)
London is the sexiest lady alive!!
