I totally forgot that it was memorial day weekend. Perhaps it was the crappy weather that led into the weekend…or perhaps it is the countless hours I’ve been putting into work that I barely had time to think let alone look at a calendar. Yeah, I think that’s it. :)

On Friday, I had the opportunity to shoot with a very special girl. Her name is Mallory…and I’ve been wanting to shoot with her for the LONGEST time. It’s funny how I’m realizing my life’s dream by photographing some of my favorite models of all time. It just worked out that she was in town this weekend and was shooting with my new friend, Rich…so he invited me along to shoot with them…so I brought them over to the studio for a quick shoot with Mal.

Let me tell you that she was worth the wait. She is totally sweet, TOTALLY beautiful…and has a southern accent that is to DIE for. Here are a few shots…

And as you all know, the lip bite DRIVES…ME…CRAZY!! :)

I definitely hope we get to shoot again soon…she pretty much rocked my world. :)

And with this last shot, I will leave you with best wishes for a Happy Memorial day. :)

Oh well…I’m going through woes anyway since my 40D is in the shop…it decided to crap out on me last week while I was shooting with London. (by the way, some video from our shoot here…). But anyway, I’ve been using the sans-camera time to catch up on projects and all that jazz, so it hasn’t been a total waste.

But…before my camera gave out, I shot X-Fest last Friday with Revolt Magazine. It was a LONG day, but it was definitely a good time. Got to hear and shoot one of my favorite bands, Jimmy Eat World…here are a few shots…

And jeez, lately, I’ve felt the crunch at the pump, haven’t you?? Yesterday was the first day I paid more than $4 dollars a gallon. I seriously felt violated. But it’s the perfect opportunity to display a blatant crotch shot as an illustration of the financial heartache felt by many Americans.

Anyway, just hanging out until Flood tonight. It’s been a lazy weekend…if you don’t count the hours of work I’ve put in. :)
