Okay, so I usually don’t blog at work, but things are remarkably under control here at the “W” and since there is nothing pressing, I thought that I would.

So today is Tuesday. And what does that mean for me? It’s Gilmore Girls night. Now, I’m a dude…but I’m secure enough in my manhood to admit that GG is a guilty pleasure, a necessity, a Tuesday-night ritual if you will.

So this new season, there have been quite a few developments. First, the show lost their writing/creative team, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. The Palladino’s quirkiness, witty humor, and random references is what made the show what it is. It seems there is something lacking..like there is no substance. Sort of feels like you’re eating cotton candy.

But the main troubling issues at hand are the paths the storylines are going. Without going into detail, even though you can’t please everyone…in this instance, there are some viewers that feel the stories are not going in the direction the show should be going in. And frankly, I agree.

Anyone else? Does anyone else even care? :)

Here’s an article from an frustrated critic. She has some very valid points and observances. Check it out…

I honestly didn’t realize it was gone. Did you? In all seriousness…I hate (read: HATE) this song. Not only do they play it on the radio like all the time, but like, it’s soooo annoying…like my use of the word “like” and repetitive letters for emphasis. Does anyone else hate this song? Thoughts? Opinions? Talk [...]

Does anyone else hate this song? Thoughts? Opinions? Talk amongst yourselves. Comment. Far be it for me to rip on our pal J.T., but, “Dude, your song sucks.”

Don’t ask me why, but I love this commercial. The first one they did is a little bit funnier: there’s this dude at work and the random guitar guy shows up out of nowhere. But this one is funny too because the random work guy shows up for about five seconds eating a fatty Snickers [...]

But this one is funny too because the random work guy shows up for about five seconds eating a fatty Snickers bar. Talk about random…a random song of satisfaction.

And we have the rap to prove it. Brian shared this video with me the other day … and I just have to say, it is freaking hilarious. Reppin’ Loma, baby! Check it out.

So one of the distinct differences between my old job and my new job is the bathroom. For instance, my new job has a bathroom fit for a king, large in in charge. It also smells better for the most part, considering the vile acts that occur there. However, my old job’s bathroom has something [...]

So one of the distinct differences between my old job and my new job is the bathroom. For instance, my new job has a bathroom fit for a king, large in in charge. It also smells better for the most part, considering the vile acts that occur there. However, my old job’s bathroom has something my new one doesn’t: a couch. Now, we all know the bathroom is one of those social hotspots, you would think there would be more couches in more bathrooms. Who wouldn’t want to immerse themselves in stench for the purpose of relaxation and socializing. They should really think about putting in a coffee bar or something to keep ‘em coming.

So I sit here broken hearted…because I could be lounging on a couch…but at least we have coconut-smelling soap here at the “W.” :)

I gotta tell you, I used to LOVE those Burger King office-scenario commercials. Mostly, because they were so quirky … but also, because of the hot girl. Yes, yes … it is indeed another crush. Michelle BorthI gotta tell you, I used to LOVE those Burger King office-scenario commercials. Mostly, because they were so quirky … but also, because of the hot girl. Yes, yes … it is indeed another crush. Her name is Michelle Borth, and unfortunately, little is known about her. An IMDB search of her pulls up little information and even more obscure works including a movie called The Sisterhood, which is a horror movie about a vampire that corrupts a college sorority. However, despite having a “pretty bad script,” the movie is described as having “pretty actresses and actors,” and pretty frequent “let’s strip to our undies” scenes. Isn’t that what makes for good movie?

Anyway, she’s my crush. And she’s hot.

But crush aside, I loved those commercials. They were off the air for a while, replaced by those goofy commercials with the fake, scary King. Now, it seems that they’re back, and peddling their breakfast delicacies. A whole 15 seconds worth … and it made me get up and drive to my local BK and pick up a Croissan’wich. It was tasty.

For my latest crush, I merge my love of girls with my love of commercials. She’s been the voice, and the unforgettable look, of Mercury, part of the Ford Motor Company. Jill Wagner with MilanFor my latest crush, I merge my love of girls with my love of commercials. She’s been the voice, and the unforgettable look, of Mercury, part of the Ford Motor Company. She definitely looks amazing peddling Mariners, Milans, and Mountaineers…but there is something undoubtedly classy about her.

Her name is Jill Wagner. And we were born exactly 18 days apart from each other. We have reverse birthdays…she was born on the 13, and I was born on the 31. A sign, perhaps? I do like “older” women.

Anyway, now you know who the mystery “Mercury Girl” is. Oh, and here is another treat for the eyes: she has posed for Stuff and FHM Magazine…and looks absolutely amazing.
Jill Wagner
Can you believe that’s the same girl? :)

Oh, and here you can see her in action with all her hotness and cute playfulness. Amazing curves…and the car looks good too.

And, if you think there isn’t any truth in advertising, I just have to say that the Mercury Milan is a fine, fine automobile. When I got into my accident a few months back, I rented a Milan and it was smooth and comfortable to drive. It would have been more comfortable if Jill was sitting in the passenger seat, however.
