So I am back from my fabulous weekend in Sac. I’m a little tired, but not much. I made pretty good time, only stopping once for gas. I made the tragic mistake of taking the 5 instead of the 99 back home…some say that the 5 is a little shorter, which may be the case…but we made great time going up and taking the 99 that I think I may start going that way. Besides, there are more fun things to see along the 99. Oh, and I was stuck in traffic coming back because of this HUGE fire along the 5. I think I was crawling about 3 MPH for about 35 minutes. It was insane.

Anyway…today, after my blogging and shower, Janelle and Meg woke up and they got ready so we could go out. We ended up doing nothing, really, but hanging out (since it was so hot to do anything else) and going to WalMart. The girls showed me the amazingness that is Hagen’s Freeze, which was a dream. :) We went home and watched a couple episodes of Lost with Kiwi before Janelle had to get to work. I thought it would be a good time for me to skip out too, even though it was a painful goodbye as always. It’s always amazing difficult to leave those guys.

I’ve mentioned several times before in this blog of trips to Sac and sad goodbyes and all those things that you may find too cliché or whatnot. You might be thinking that I might be over dramatizing or exaggerating the impact of the farewells. Let me just say these two things: first, I love San Diego. I have lived here all my life and would never dream of leaving. The weather is perfect, the people are great, and it’s just an amazing place to live. But if I could, I would totally move to Sacramento just to be close to the great friends I have up there. And second, I hate driving. There aren’t a lot of people I would drive 500 miles to be with. And there you go.

I think I’m going to get to bed now. I fully intended on writing about the panties, but I am too tired. I’ll share tomorrow. You’ll just have to wait until then.
