Well, I am coming to you live from Sac-town…and sitting in the living room of Casa Weiney. I smell toast. I think Kiwi is rustling up some breakfast as she is currently the only other person in the house that’s awake. I’m actually still sleepy. Dude, Sacramento is a freakin’ OVEN! I kid you not. [...]

Dude, Sacramento is a freakin’ OVEN! I kid you not. Seriously, I’m used to hot weather being from Ramona and all…but it is seriously baking outside. It’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I think we drove by a bank yesterday on our way to grab some lunch and the sign said that it was a cool 115 degrees. Yeah. And even with the air conditioning on in the house, we were all still pretty sweaty. M’mmm, doesn’t that sound yummy!
Anyway, after arriving yesterday at around 1 in the afternoon, Megan and Janelle and I went to lunch and had the most fabulous meaty salad. I know, sounds like chick food…but the meat really does make it a little manly. Oh, and on a side note, I think I came to Sac on the right weekend…we must have seen like 3 different carwashes going on for support of local cheerleaders. :) I would have contributed to the cause, but since Meg owes me a bikini car wash, I think I will just hold out a little longer.
After lunch, we drove out to CostCo since, well, 7 hours of driving isn’t enough. After acquiring booze and a shiny new iPod for Meg, we headed to BevMo and got even more booze. You know, since there were like three of us, we needed all that booze, right? So back home, we just sat around and chilled for a bit, which was actually rather difficult since it was so hot outside. After some pizza and a whole lot of beverage, we decided to have an impromptu lingerie photo shoot. After all, I do have cameras…and I am a professional, after all. However, I am a guy, so I did enjoy it too. :)
I think we all crashed at midnight, which is a miracle for Meg in itself. And now, I think I’m going to shower and start the day since it is like almost noon and I will have to be departing this wonderful place in just a few measly little hours. But I’ve had a good time, as always. Always good times. More later…
