Spring is upon us. Love is in the air. Well, not for me…sort of. ;) But that’s not the point…

One of my many projects has been developing marketing tools for the wedding videography part of our business. While Brian has been working on getting the customers (and he’s been doing TOO good of a job because we are getting a fair amount of business), we needed to have something to show them, samples and whatnot. We have the finished products, but who wants to watch an hour and a half of someone else’s wedding? That’s where promotional videos and sample DVDs come in handy.

Because we are fairly new and don’t have a lot of stuff to showcase, our wedding promo video is rather simple…but I think it highlights some of the work we’ve done. Once again, it’s been a long and winding week. Things are busy at work, but for some reason I can’t seem to get anything done with SNAFUs here and there. Hopefully next week will be a little better. I am making progress on my validation test cases, so I should have my RLA before you know it. It will be nice. :)

On the other side of the spectrum, I’m REALLY looking forward to vacation in two weeks. Aside from not having to work for an entire week, it will be nice to hang out in paradise. Hawaii. Land of pineapples, beaches, and hot girls. Whilst my friend is slaving away at the bowing lanes, I will be soaking up the sun. And we also have some photo shoots planned while we are over there, so that’ll be fun too.

I got my car back this week…and it was about freaking time too. I was paying about 40 bucks a day for a rental…and there was just something weird about driving a car that wasn’t mine. I am so glad I have my baby back…and I’m going to try my hardest to not be stupid again.

In other news, it was my blogging buddy, Shea’s, birthday last Thursday. A very happy birthday to the hottest girl in Kansas. :)

Anyway, today has been mostly chill. I spent a nice part of the afternoon in my grandma’s garden doing a little photography. Went shopping at CostCo. Mostly boring things. We’ll see how the rest of the weekend pans out. Later.
