I’m back. It’s Monday. I’m ready to work, with no work to do. How sad is that?

I am starting to get the feeling that NGS East is turning into a swanky hotel. More and more guests are starting to appear for overnight stays. When I have to park all the way down at the corner and hike up the hill to the house because there are so many cars parked out front, one automatically starts to think about things. Things like, “Hmmm, is it okay to walk around in my NGS boxers or should I throw more clothes on?” Or “Should I put the toilet seat down to make sure that one of the many unsuspecting female guests in the house doesn’t fall in?” Well, I always put down the seat, so the second one really isn’t an issue. But anyway. It’s…well…yeah.

Irritating, yeah, that’s the word.

On to other things…my weekend was pretty laid back. Breakfast with my pop on Saturday, dinner with dad and the grandparents on Saturday night…a little video editing in between. Sunday was several photo shoots…we took pictures of Lindsay and Kacy, cute bowling friends of Brian. We shot at Point Loma (it was a gorgeous day) and Shelter Island and got some good photos. They wanted some pictures for Christmas cards, so they brought their dogs with them. Who knew three little dogs could be so much work! But it was fun shooting with them…and we now have a “date” to look forward to on Taco Tuesday. :)

Also shot quite a few photos of Brian for his corporate bio on NGS Media’s website. I have been diligently working to get that website up since it will be our primary marketing tool. Among the plethora of other things on my to do list, it has taken a back seat to a lot of things. But it will be up soon. And it will be cool.

So, this week should be a pretty cool week. I love the crispness in the air. I love December nights. I can do without the crowds at the mall. But I love the lights. Driving down my street at night, and other no-so-familiar streets, is nice; all the little houses are decorated with the themes of the season. Even the city sparkles…I used to drive 5 south all the time to get home, but I hadn’t driven that stretch of freeway at night in quite a while. I had forgotten how beautiful the city is at night. It’s almost distracting. But even the cityscape is decked for the holidays.

Well, onto my Monday. More later, kids.
