John came over tonight. He and Kim are getting married (congrats to them!!), so I thought I would lend a few pointers and assist him in designing a web page for them and their engagement. He brought his new Apple G4 Powerbook. It was so beautiful, I almost cried. I want, I want! Now I know that thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s, uh, Powerbook…but I don’t even live in the same building anymore. So I guess it’s okay, right?
Training was good today. Let’s just say I have a whole new respect for our boarders (the people that put the loans on our system). Man, that is tedious work! I had a slightly longer lunch than usual, so I made the drive up to Kearny Mesa and saw some UBOC people. It was good. :) I really miss those guys. Oh, and I had a great sandwich as well, in case you were wondering.
John delivered the goods, by the way, unfortunately I was talking on the old fashioned cell phone at the time so I was unable to marvel at his new toy… luckily he showed it off to me before. Yeah for Skype, now I can finally TALK to people on it.
Oh my gosh, those Powerbooks are freakin’ awesome! I’m glad John was able to get one. One more person leaving the hell that is Microsoft. I’m getting weepy just typing about it. ;-)
