I guess I must be this magnet for inappropriateness today. Again, I’m not offended easily…I just think it’s funny that weird stuff is around every turn…

A few months ago, I was sitting at home alone on a Friday night (pathetic, I know…) and there was a ruckus about in the back yard. It was mostly hyena-esque laughter and loud-talking, but you could hear everything from my living room. It was a party or small gathering of some sort; and it lasted all night long. I finally had to call it a night because it was getting annoying.

Well, tonight was the same sort of deal. As I was chilling in the living room, I heard large amounts of laughter and this chick with one of the loudest voices ever. I decided to get a closer look, so I walked out on the deck and started to eavesdrop a little. Imagine my surprise when I discovered what kind of party it was.

It was a sex toy party. There was a group of people sitting out in back of this house, a sales lady who was talking abnormally loud, and a giant inflatable penis leaning up against the wall. She was explaining all the benefits to toys and the different types, etc. She seemed quite knowledgeable. If you were ever in the market for any sort of pleasure device, I’m sure she could hook you up.

However, I didn’t stay long enough to hear the sales pitch. I promptly left after a few minutes. Spaghetti was calling me. I also think any other dude in my shoes would head in the opposite direction after spotting a giant Johnson.

Anyway, gotta run. Iron chef is on. I’m not sure what’s on the menu tonight; perhaps spotted possum guts? Or maybe sea urchin? Maybe they’ll make ice cream out of eel. I can’t wait to find out.

I am usually not the type to get embarrassed or grossed out easily. As evidence, I reference the “Half Cat” incident from my PLNU days. Didn’t bother me. I also have a sister, so “girl talk” don’t bother me none neither. But wow, talk about inappropriateness. I was sitting at Wendy’s just eating my lunch [...]

But wow, talk about inappropriateness. I was sitting at Wendy’s just eating my lunch enjoying some alone time when a conversation struck up between a couple sitting a few tables away.

Taking into consideration the fact that they were a few tables away, I shouldn’t have been able to hear them at all over the soothing, mellowness of the muzak playing…but alas, I was able to hear them.

And I actually wasn’t that embarrased. But I think I would have been less embarrassed if I wasn’t eating lunch. Or if I wasn’t sitting in a Wendy’s restaurant. Or if I were a gynecologist.

I’m sitting here gearing up for a massively productive day. Grrr. (In case you were wondering, that was my Tony the Tiger growl. It sounds more fierce in person :) ) But what is up with all this fog? And the trash truck that’s pulled over to the side of the bridge on the 805 [...]

I’m sitting here gearing up for a massively productive day. Grrr. (In case you were wondering, that was my Tony the Tiger growl. It sounds more fierce in person :) )

But what is up with all this fog? And the trash truck that’s pulled over to the side of the bridge on the 805 right outside my window? Hmmm. My curiousity has gotten the better of me.

Okay, so he’s gotten out of his truck in his cool reflector vest and it appears as if he’s picking up trash. What a crappy job (literally). First, I don’t like trash and second, I hate heights. And I look horrible in yellow and orange.

Okay, so I had the most random night last night. I think it all started when I got home, popped on my iPod and lit a vanilla candle. I drifted in and out of sleep for about an hour and a half. When I finally realized I couldn’t teeter halfway between dreamland and reality anymore, I got up. I figured it would be a good idea to have dinner, but I’m in that phase right now where I don’t feel like eating. I know that isn’t good, but I just can bring myself to eat anything. But I did anyway and had a hot dog from Wienerschnitzel. Not the best choice for dinner, but I really wasn’t hungry to begin with. After eating and watching a little Who’s Line?, I decided to actually go to sleep; which is weird, since it wasn’t even really that late. Maybe like 11:30-ish. But that isn’t the most random part…

I woke up at about 2 am since I was thirsty, which is unusual in itself…but I had just been dreaming, which is REALLY unusual. I rarely have dreams…and when I do, I usually forget them. But basically, I was doing home improvement in an all-white room in a house that was supposedly mine, but I had never seen before. A handy friend was there, donning a pink hard hat and doing most of the work. And my mom was there too, which is strange. She was actually in a good mood too. After what seemed to be a long time, even though nothing appeared to be different (the room was still white), I woke up for water. Strange.

And now it’s Thursday, which is one day closer to Friday, which is one day closer to the weekend. That deserves a “heck yesss!”

Okay, now that I’ve officially been here for 24 minutes, I should probably do some actual work-related stuff. Catch yous later.

I guess you could say I’m sort of a neat freak. Just replace “sort of” with “really.” Back in the day, there was a short period of time where I hadn’t put any thing away and it just got out of hand. This “short period of time” only lasted a few hours, but it is [...]

I guess you could say I’m sort of a neat freak. Just replace “sort of” with “really.” Back in the day, there was a short period of time where I hadn’t put any thing away and it just got out of hand. This “short period of time” only lasted a few hours, but it is still a dark, sad moment in my life. I’m so ashamed.

This funk that I have been in has allowed a tiny little mountain of crap to form on my chair. Sure, I’ve tidied here and there, but I just haven’t had the motivation to do anything with it. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow. Again, this is a dark, dark day. I think it’s the pillows that make it look worse than it really is. I look forward to the day I can actually sit again.

In other news, I went to Wal-Mart the other day and purchased a box of Twinkies. Twinkies are one of those rare delicacies. It doesn’t take much to please me. I’m a simple guy.

And starting to feel like people have forgotten about me. I’m still here. My e-mail in box is empty. Even the crap junk mail that I usually get is scarce these days. Very sad.

I’ve had a lot of my mind for the past several days. I’ve been wanting to write down some of the things I have been thinking, but I’m still piecing it altogether. Perhaps when I’m done piecing, I’ll fill you in. It’s some fascinating stuff, really it is.

And on that note, I think I will say “Farewell” for this evening. Farewell.

Dude, it’s only 11am. The day is going by SO slow. It’s ridiculous. And if being bored wasn’t bad enough, I’m also starving! I’m making the trek up to Kearny Mesa today and meeting Sir Mounts for lunch. Greasy Mexican food…I can’t wait! :)

It’s raining outside. Don’t ask me why, but I love this kind of weather. It’s probably because it’s actually weather…in San Diego! Today, I bought my lunch and then pulled into a parking lot and ate in my car. The sound of the rain as it hit my car was soothing. And it’s getting cooler [...]

Today, I bought my lunch and then pulled into a parking lot and ate in my car. The sound of the rain as it hit my car was soothing. And it’s getting cooler and crisper too. I usually am not one for colder weather…if I had my druthers, I would wear shorts and flip flops all the time. But the coolness sort of reminds me of growing up when I lived back home; when weather was a little cooler in the fall. Nostalgia.

Those were some good times. Simpler times.

Well folks, if you have viewed my site recently, you will notice that it looks little different. And if you know me at all, you know that even though I don’t like change, I get tired of things really fast. So I thought it was time to give my site a new look. So how do you like it? Let me know! So far, I’ve heard good things…everything from the new flash menu bar to how easy it is to read…give me your feedback; it’s good for me. :)

However, things in my life don’t always go smoothly, so needless to say, my photo gallery (once again) took the hit. But I think this will be good considering that it has forced me to upgrade to Gallery 2.0, which although it’s harder to customize, it has some neat features that older versions didn’t have before. So this might be a good thing. I’m slowly uploading (for the second time) all the photos that were once up…so bear with me. It’s a time consuming process.

And the first gallery that I’m proud to mention is the pics from yesterday’s excursion to Disneyland. Again, I had a blast with Keri, so here is the evidence.

So, here is the end of yet another exciting weekend. It flew by. :(

I spent all day at Disneyland yesterday with Keri…good times were had. It had been quite a while since the last time I was there, so it was good to spend the day exploring. It was also my first time at California Adventure, which was pretty fun too. We made some pretty darn good time up there and were at the park before 9. After meeting the Mad Hatter, who let us in to the park, we schemed, got Fast Passes, grabbed some breakfast, and pretty much winged the rest of the day. We hit about everything there was to do and even stayed for the fireworks and Fantasmic! We pretty much closed the park and were on the road a little after midnight. Definitely a day well spent. Photos will be up shortly, that is, after my gallery is back on line.

Anyway, I’m going to spend the day sitting on my butt because I am still tired from all the fun that was had yesterday. Laters.

Well, after watching the swirly red and blue lights from my living room, I decided that they didn’t need my help anymore. The police helicopter left, so I did too.

I went over to my grandma’s house because I heard they had made enchiladas. Just an FYI, my grandma makes the best enchiladas in the world. And being that I was hungry and feeling cheap, I decided to head over and mooch a few enchiladas.

Good call on my part.

Now, it’s time for bed. Dear God, I have to wake up in 5 hours! *gulp*

Oh, and the story about the shooting just appeared on my sidebar. Check it out…

Why is it that I seem to be in the center of chaos? I was just sitting here watching Three Wishes, then all of a sudden a hear police sirens in between the cheers and the roar of the crowd at the Helix High football game. I pay no attention, since sirens are common occurances in the big city…then I hear a few more…and a few more…pretty soon, they are coming from all around. I see three cars with lights fly down University. Then a few more. Easily, there had to have been a over dozen cars converging on the high school and surrounding area.

All of this is going on, mind you, during the fireworks show.

From what I can deduce at this point, it seems there was some sort of incident at the game and the cops are now setting up a perimeter around the area. They need to get everyone out without disturbing the crime scene; I can only imagine that someone might have gotten shot or worse.

I’ll find out the scoop and let you know. After all, a good reporter does that.

**Update**
10:18pm – Well, I just checked with my dad, who I asked to monitor the police frequency, and it appears that it was a gang-related shooting. Sheriff’s deputies, San Diego Police, La Mesa Police, and K-9 units from these agencies have been dispatched to the high school and to this apartment complex on Normal. SWAT is being dispatched, as we speak, to the apartments; seems a woman from the complex approached police and informed them that she had left her apartment unlocked and when she went back to her apartment the deadbolt was locked. So they now believe they have the two suspects in this apartment.

Officers at the high school reported that there were three victims involved. Two are en-route to the hospital; the third, unfortunately, did not make it.

More info to come…
