Talk about one of the most stressful and frustrating evenings…

For the last day or so, I’ve noticed a little bit of green fluid dripping from my poor little car. The drive to Sac must have been too much for her. :(

So anyway, I had every intention of taking it in on Saturday…that is of course, until I almost overheated.

I was driving home and I could see the needle on the temperature gauge slowly inching its way up. And to make matters worse, it was nothing but stop and go on the freeway because California drivers are morons and there were like three accidents on the way to the dealership. It was a race against time and the elements.

Needless to say, I finally made it to the dealership (just at closing time) and they had my car checked in and a loaner checked out to me in about 5 minutes. So I’m driving a sporty little green Tucson, which is pretty nice. Hopefully, they will fix my baby up nice. :)

Okay, the third cell phone this morning just went off in my office. And I am realizing that no one has a normal ringtone anymore. The first phone that went off was some sort of ghetto rap song. The second was this funky little chirpy, jazz, whistle tone. And the third was this cheesy Midi-version of Johnny Comes Marching Home.

At the suggestion of Megan, I spent some quality time last night editing some songs for ringtones. I have to add more but when you think about it, only certain songs really work as ringtones. For Meg, I have reluctantly selected Baby Got Back…because, after all, that is her theme song. And for a certain California girl in another state, I have chosen “I’ll Be There For You” by the Rembrandts because, “Hey, we all love Friends, right?”

I can’t believe today is already Thursday. And if it isn’t for some strange reason, nobody tell me. I don’t want to ruin my already pathetic day.

And speaking of pathetic, I’ve been in this funk for the past week. A few of you know why. And no matter what I do, I continually tell myself I’m fine.

But, I’m not so sure.
