I’ve been so busy lately, I don’t know whether I’m coming or going. But in the last few minutes of work, as I was putting away my pens, pencils, and Post-Its, I realized how much I love my job. Despite the stupid people that call and email me every moment of everyday with their incessant requests for “rushes” (if I hear that word one more time!!), or their stupid long-winded questions (do I really have to be here for this conversation that you’re having with yourself, or do you just like to hear your own voice?), there is a good side to everything. In the quiet aftermath of the day, with the gentle hum of the air conditioner and the purring of my fan in the background, I can take a breath and realize what makes this job worthwhile…
