I think I know how Houdini felt. Ever feel like you were in a Chinese torture chamber, the water rising to the top, with absolutely no way out?

My ears are throbbing, my eyes are watering, my ears are ringing.

There is this lady who is training a new guy…but she seriously has got the biggest mouth. She’s giving me a headache. If only I had a gun. Heck, I’d settle for a pile of small pebbles I could chuck at her…anything that would shut her trap.

“Hey lady, why don’t you tune it down just a couple decibels??”

Well folks, it’s almost 2am and I’m still up…what’s up with that? Well, ER started a little late. Anyway, I’ve had a productive, exciting weekend, so I suppose I’m still winding down. This week was a long one…work wise, that is. I’m glad that I am on vacation in a week…I deserve 5 days off, [...]

Well folks, it’s almost 2am and I’m still up…what’s up with that? Well, ER started a little late. Anyway, I’ve had a productive, exciting weekend, so I suppose I’m still winding down.

This week was a long one…work wise, that is. I’m glad that I am on vacation in a week…I deserve 5 days off, don’t you think? :) But after the long week, a few of us from work hit up 5th Quarter in the Gaslamp for happy hour and then headed to the Pads game. The Friars, unfortunately, had a rough night against the Sox…but it was still a good time and a good night for a game. After the game, Brian and I embarked on a filming expedition of our own and began shooting his second Survivor Application Video. However, it wasn’t without it’s share of hiccups. We had planned on going in one direction with the shoot…but that, of course, was three weeks ago. With the due date drawing near, we had to change our plan and go another way. But even that didn’t work out because it felt a little lame. So we finally decided on a 20-questions type of format in the James Lipton/Inside The Actor’s Studio-esque style. With the help of our good friend and honorary nice guy Josh Saddler, we shot the thing and were done by two.

Saturday, Brian and I met with our good friend, Sarah Gates, and discussed some projects we will be working on together. It’s really exciting and it’s gonna be a heck of a lot of fun. Can’t wait. She’s a cool chick. We talked shop and stuffed our faces at California Pizza Kitchen and then drooled over all the gadgets, computers, and cameras at the Apple Store. I had to take a cold shower afterwards.

But I didn’t. Instead, Brian and I edited the final version of his Survivor movie and schmoozed a bit with Emac, who was down. Good to see that guy, since I haven’t seen him in about a million years.

Today was a lazy, hazy, crazy day of summer which involved kicking back with my pop and the grandparents, a few errands, a little shopping, and washing my car. I am a nerd, but I’m stoked because Dragnet 1967 is finally out on DVD…and it’s sweeeet! I’ve been waiting for this for a while (I used to watch the show on Nick at Nite) and it’s finally here. Jack Webb is the man. Soon to come out from Universal is Adam-12 (another favorite of mine) and Emergency. It’s gonna be rad.

Alright party animals, gotta get to bed…another day, another dollar. Late.
