I had an interview today. I think it went well. I applied for the Management Training Program with Union Bank; if I get the position, I will spend the next year learning about banking and all that good stuff. It would be good for me, I think. But if I don’t get it, I’m not worried. I work with a great group of people…and there will be other opportunites…
Which made me wonder: why aren’t there more opportunities to wear a suit? I really wish there were. I think maybe I’ll start a suit wearing club or society, if you will, because there should be more opportunities to wear a suit. I look smashing in one. If I wasn’t articulate in my interview, or witty, or even intelligent, at the VERY least, I looked damn good if I do say so myself. ;)
More opportunites, of sorts…me and the boys of NGS East headed out to El Cajon last night and feasted at On The Border where we met Julia, a really super-cute, interesting bartender. Her stories were intriguing, which besides being cute made her all the more…woah. I have to give Danielsan kudos for keeping her talking; his eloquent conversational skills were definitely exemplified.
Well, I have to get to bed or I will be worthless tomorrow.
What does all the more WOAH mean?
Haha…I had to re-read that (I had forgotten what I wrote). =) When a dude sees a girl he is interested in, it just sort of makes him think, “Woah” as in “Woah, this girl is amazing.” All the “more woah” is just beyond words…a je ne sais quoi, if you will. A girl can make me think “woah,” but if she is even more amazing than that initial woah, more woah is what you’ve got.
Is my new name Danielsan? I’ve been called Daniel son (like karate kid).
Well, I do not claim to be well-versed in the linguistic trends in the Japanese language…but I believe Daniel son (prounounced like Harrison) is actually like a last name (Danielson) and that Daniel-san (with the hyphen) is the more appropriate way. The suffix “san” is a title of respect in Japanese when added to a name. It can be used with both male and female names, and with either surnames or given names. It can also be attached to the name of occupations and titles, like “oisha-san” for a doctor or “bengoshi-san” for a lawyer.
I should have used the hyphen in my post…so I stand (actually, I’m sitting) corrected. But to make a long story longer, yes, it is you…and yes, you are the man. As much of a man as Ralph Macchio is. :)
