…is how many times I can watch Christina Russo on Fox 6 in the morning. To be totally honest, I have never really made an effort to spend serious time with Chrissy because of my work schedule. I used to sleep in until 7:30 and then rush to work. And even now that I wake up at the crack of dawn, I still prefer Local 8 news.

But there was a moment a few months ago when my recently departed friend, Rebecca, gave me “the napkin,” which of course changed my life forever. (Becca isn’t dead or anything, but she is in a much better place.)

And so this morning, I switched to Six with the very intention of seeing the most beautiful girl in the world deliver the weather and traffic…and I, like every other man in San Diego, was instantly smitten. I hung on to every word from this gorgeous, fast-talking, Italian girl. Impressive? Definitely. Now, I’ll still probably be switching every fifteen minutes just to catch a glimpse of Chrissy because I still prefer Local 8…but by utilizing the maximum “getting-ready-for-work” time and the maximum sleeping-in time, I can oogle four times a day. I will be making the effort to wake up just a teensy weensy bit early to eat my Fruity Pebbles with her.
