Ok, what’s new with me…well, nothing really. Work is pretty interesting…we are still in a testing phase for our new broker platform that we’ve been hearing all about for the past year. Honestly, I think it’s a piece of crap as it takes hours to do something that used to take minutes. But hey, that’s technology for you. The more advanced things get, the harder they are to fix. I remember when I was little and the radio in my dad’s car wasn’t working…all it took was a not-so-gentle smack with my hand and I had it working again. I must have been eight or something like that with absolutely no fix-it skills what-so-ever. But I have the gift. Hopefully they will get this platform working…I think it has the potential to be really cool.
Oh, really good album, if you like the gospel/R&B feel…one of my co-workers is letting me borrow the new Donnie McClurkin album, …again…and it is really good. Some really nice, soulful tunes on this one…and a really nice rendition of The Prayer (made popular by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion). Check out more at DonnieMcClurkin.com.
Now that the Madrigal Dinner is complete (in the DVD production phase now), I can begin some other little video projects, such as putting together some clips of Vegas etc. I’ve also been putting a lot of time into the development of the new BrianMounts.com, which should launch soon. Just adding some little cool things and trying to get more content from the man himself. Really excited about this one…it’s been a few weeks in the making and planning and looks pretty sharp.
I usually don’t have dreams…I don’t know what’s wrong with me. But last night I had a really weird one involving my friend, Katrin, her brother Lukas, and a lot of raisins. Very strange.
Well, must get back to work and think about what I’m going to eat for lunch. Decisions, decisions.
