I had the worst time getting up this morning, it was pathetic. I must have slept through my alarm for a good 10-20 minutes, which I’m sure my roommate appreciates. I seriously did not even hear it. I usually hit snooze, but could not collect the mental and physical energy to do so. However, as I was slipping in and out of consciousness, I heard someone talking about Yermo on the Jeff and Jer showgram this morning.
For those of you who don’t know what a Yermo is, it’s a town on the way to and from Las Vegas. Yermo is a hole. Brian and I stopped there on the way back from our Las Vegas excursion for a bathroom break and a burger (not simultaneously, of course). This deserted town is pathetic…but I’m not sure if the whole town is like that. I wasn’t surprised when I found that they were talking about Yermo in a segment of their show they called “Places you’ll never visit again.”
