Ever since I can remember, I have always loved watching gymnastics. My mom tried to get me into a class when I was younger…and I was like, “no way…gymnastics is for girls!” Now, I sort of wish I would have. I’m sure that girls go for the chiseled, rock hard guys, right? And the female gymnasts? I guess before it made sense that I thought they were cute…now, they are all a little small and a little too young. Still cute. But even more than that is their amazing ability to defy gravity. Tonight, NBC aired the Olympic Trials for gymnastics at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim. I still sat there mystified at every event — the balance beam, the floor routine, vaulting, the uneven bars. It’s absolutely incredible how these athletes, as young as they are, have so much ability, grace, coordination, and strength. I am looking forward to the games this year in Athens, where we are sure to kick some booty. I like all the other summer games too. Summer is just my favorite season…all the best things are in summer.
Today, we celebrated a bunch of people’s birthdays — Brian, Mahina, Rebekah, etc. It was a good time seeing everyone; although, it was a bit chilly at Crown Point. But a good time nevertheless.
I also officially am a member…I got my very own CostCo Membership today. So now I will be partaking of the wholesale shopping experience. And hopefully meet a cute girl, while picking up a several pounds of meat, drink, and other items. I’ve always said how cute CostCo girls are…and now I have the opportunity to just cruise around when I have nothing better to do. Not that I would do that or anything…I’m not a loser. ha!
Well, I am off to bed. I just finished my KoolAid, which means it’s time for bed. Good night all.
