I had the fortunate experience of tagging along to dinner and a ballgame with some of our Senior VP’s and our biggest wholesale clients tonight. Turns out the head of the division couldn’t make it, so they asked me to fill in. Crazy, huh? So, we went to dinner at Flemings and I had an excellent piece of meat and a couple different wines. And then we went to Petco Park for the Padres game. The first part of the game wasn’t terribly exciting…but the last part really got good, especially when they played Hells Bells and brought out Trevor Hoffman in the 9th. We won the game 3 to 1…and it was really cool to see him pitch an actual live game. And it was pretty neat to schmooze with some really cool businessmen.

I’m also glad that I was able to talk to Megs tonight too. I was driving home from the office and thought I would call her. It’s sort of sad that she’s leaving to go to school in Sacramento, but I didn’t ever see her anyway. But that too is sad. So, best of luck to her…we certainly will miss her down here. Whenever we needed a hot meal, someone to expose themselves, a tennis partner, “sexual liason”, or we needed a rent-a-cop, a crack whore, a gaffer (for video purposes) …she was there for us. And she will be missed.
